  5. Cookies
  6. When you view our website we might store some information on your computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie" or similar file. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive. Cookies do not spy on you or otherwise invade your privacy.

    If you do not want us to store cookies on your computer, you can set your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when a website tries to put a cookie on your computer. Rejecting cookies may affect your ability to use some of the products and/or services at our website.

    We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and to prevent you from reentering all your registration data at each connection. We also use cookies to track the results of our own marketing efforts.

    We use cookies to track sales from our reseller network to credit them with sale of our product, and on occasion, to identify resellers with whom we have issues. We also use cookies to identify users of public proxy servers. We use cookies in these ways to protect our customers and ourselves from fraudulent transfers and transactions.

  7. The Way We Use Information
  8. We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order mainly to complete that order and to credit our resellers and track our own advertising campaigns. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive for technical support, customer service, email updates and to send registered users their unlock codes. The other possible ways we may use your personal information:

    • To provide you with information about virus alerts, product upgrades, new products, services, newsletters, informative emails, and research on future product ideas or improvements;
    • To assist us in creating content that is relevant to you;
    • To provide you with special offers that may be of interest to you;
    • To assist us in creating better products and services to meet your needs;
    • To help you quickly find software, services or product information important to you;

    We do not share your personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order, and otherwise as described in this section.

    We may retain the services of outside contractors to provide services for us. They may be used to ship products, provide technical support, provide software programs or portions of programs, or handle order processing. We require that these contractors keep the personal information of customers secure and confidential. We also require that these contractors use personal information only on behalf of TrustSoft.

    However, in certain instances, we may be required to disclose your information to government officials or otherwise under our legal obligations, for example, under a subpoena or court order.
